The summer collection 2007 is a uniting of lovely and light impressions, which express playfulness, happiness, summer’s abundance and about finding the beauty in simplicity. The design is kept in a pure graphic style with undertones of freshness and life.

Pilgrim Fruuiity Collection
“In this series we join colourful, organic forms with resin. The fruit is given a porcelain-like façade, and the entire series a look of simplicity. We think the combination of organic (fruit) with synthetic (the material) is fun. When we designed, we had an enticing fruit basket on the table; it was bursting with pears, grapes, and more. Fruit is a summer delicacy really, so it was very fitting to use it in one of our summer series,” says designer Annemette Markvad.

Pilgrim Sunshine Flower Collection
Annemette and Birte Markvad: “We are inspired by the vintage flower and the summer’s irreplaceable element and source of life to all elements – the sun. The lively, long, slender and slightly curved petals are like the sun’s rays in the drawing of a happy childhood. The sun’s heart is a Swarovski crystal.”

Pilgrim Elements Of Joy Collection
Annemette Markvad and Birte Markvad: “The designers’ playfulness was the starting point of this series. We gave ourselves free rein, but happiness, adventure, and play were among some of the inspirations. The series is defined by flowers with a mix of charms which all express joy. There is a happily skipping girl, a fairytale mermaid who is also a type of national symbol, a cheery accordion playing sailor who is rich in experiences and travels. Swarovski crystals sprinkled sporadically add a touch of glamour. We express the livelier element in a multi-colour where the colours play on each other.” 

Pilgrim Floral Lushness Collection
Designer Birte Markvad describes: ”The flower here is virtually a direct  moulding of a flower. Over the years we have enjoyed a lot of work with flowers and we wanted to create a flower that just about comes alive. It is our hope that the flower conjures a floral scent and summer living.”

Pilgrim Blossom Collection
The line represents PILGRIM’s signature flowers in feminine colours. ”We have chosen to make the flowers even more graphic, and the combination of flowers with leaves and swarovski crystals makes a new statement, ” says Birte Markvad. The look is both elegant and feminine.

Pilgrim Oriental Collection
The Oriental line reflects the simple aesthetic and reserved elegance of Japanese design. ”We have always been fascinated by Japanese design, ” says designer Birte Markvad. ”Through our work we visit Asia frequently and it always amazes us how much inspiration there is to be found in the Asian culture. In the Oriental line we were inspired to make the stylized flower ornamentation from the motifs of antique Japanese kimonos.

Pilgrim Fairy Wings Collection
”In these modern times we are fascinated by the celestial and airy qualities connected with legends. Maybe because we want to avoid colliding with today’s reality,” says designer Annemette Markvad. Mystery, legends and fairytale worlds are the starting points for the Fairy Wing line. ”The supernatural grows out of the shadowy forest, and we therefore chose a light and transparent fairytale world as our inspiration,” she explains. The designs are precious and refined, revealing a woman’s feminity through subtle glimpses. 

Pilgrim Floral Delicacy Collection
The look is inspired by the court of Marie Antoinette, the beautiful Queen of France who became a symbol for the extravagance of the 18th century monarchy. The colours were the starting point for this line and the flowers have an almost porcelain feel to them. ”We wanted to reflect the colours and the look from the Marie Antoinette period, and translate it in a PILGRIM way,” explains Annemette Markvad.

Pilgrim Crazy Collection
The Crazy line is humorous and untraditional. ”Humour and spontaneity are the core of PILGRIM, so I feel this line reflects our brand very well,” says Annemette Markvad. “We have combined antique elements like enamelled pendants with contemporary elements like cartoon figures. Our goal was to combine the past and the present in a cultural remix.

Pilgrim 3D Flower Collection
This is a classic PILGRIM’s Flower line. ”Flowers and stones are always present in the PILGRIM collections. In this Flower line we have put extra focus on the 3D aspect of the designs and have tried to capture a growing flower, ” says Birte Markvad. The pendants are classic PILGRIM and feminine to the core.

Pilgrim Water Lily Collection
Danish landscape is often the starting point for PILGRIM´s collection. This line is inspired by Danish forest lakes and it reflects the airiness and dreamy mood of the water lily. This poetic flower symbolizes strength, poetry, and innocence.

Pilgrim Grapes Collection
The Grapes line is inspired by the richness of nature. ”We find much of our design inspiration in nature,”  says Birte Markvad. ”The inspiration from grapes is obvious in this line, in its graphic and simple design. Instead of adding stones, we have used warm wood with cold metal, in order to obtain the subtle contrasts.” The design has reference to the 1980s, but the look is still classic.

Pilgrim Bells And Flowers Collection
”The harebell is a beautiful flower. We fell in love with it and wanted to incorporate it in the classic PILGRIM look, ” says Annemette Markvad. The Bells and Flowers line is both graphic and refined. ”Our aim has been to simplify the classic PILGRIM flower look because we believe there is a trend towards more minimalistic design.”  The Bells and Flowers line is both simple and feminine.
